Automation & AI
Start with the workflow, not the AI tool.
The useful question is not “Where can we use AI?” It is which repetitive task, decision or follow-up point deserves to become faster or clearer — and whether the technology is actually suitable for it.

Why does this matter?
The technology is not the use case
Choosing a tool first often pushes the team to search for a problem that fits it. A better path starts with known work: repetitive entry, information sorting, follow-up or a step consuming more time than it deserves. Only then does evaluating automation or AI make sense.
What should you examine?
Define what should improve
Is the goal to reduce time, lower errors, make information available faster or improve follow-up quality? If the improvement cannot be described before the solution is built, it will be difficult to know whether the technology added value afterward.
Good automation disappears into the work
The best outcome is not an impressive system that needs daily explanation. It is a simpler step, used at the right moment, with a way to see whether it is producing the intended result.
When the question becomes practical
When the question becomes practical, we can move it from the article into the business.
